General Purpose:
he Universal Banker promotes and sells all consumer products and related services of the Bank, including providing a continuous high level of personal customer service. Also, the Universal Banker assures that cash transactions are processed accordingly by also maintaining the custody and control hereof.
Position Highlights:
- Actively promote and sell retail consumer and depository products.
- Conduct timely follow-ups with customers and keeping them involved in the process.
- Provide information to prospective customers regarding products and services of the Bank in verbal and in written form.
- Provide personal assistance to customers with special needs, complaints, and problems.
- Have full understanding of the Bank’s services and be aware of marketing and cross-selling opportunities
- Handing and documentation of transactions at the counter, including of acceptance of deposits, internal and external transfers and payments and money orders.
- Maintain custody and control of the contents of the cash bin. Cash is always fully safeguarded and under control.
Requirements:
- MBO / associate Degree in Business Administration
- Previous working experience is a plus.
- Practical knowledge of Word and Excel, including typing skills.
- Good oral communication skills.
- Proficient in English, Dutch and Papiamento, fair knowledge of Spanish.
- Customer relations and services know-how and skills.
- Good knowledge of banking services and products.
- Knowledge of banking systems.
- Team player and good interpersonal skills.
