Teller (Orco Bank)

General Purpose:

 

A Teller maintains records of financial accounts and completes customer transactions, primarily by depositing money into or withdrawing funds from customer accounts. In addition, promotes and advises on the bank's products and services. The Teller reports to the Supervisor Transfer & Cash.

 

Position Highlights:

  • Providing guidance, support and transactional services to customers
  • Maintain custody and control of cash according to the procedures and guidelines of the Bank.
  • Handling currency, transactions and confidential information in a responsible manner.
  • Maintaining and balancing cash drawers and reconciling discrepancies.
  • Ensuring compliance with all internal controls and established policies and procedures, in order to guarantee transparency in every transaction held.
  • Sort, file and forward detailed records on the transactions executed daily to other departments.
  • Deliver and follow up of ATM cards, credit cards and OBO tokens to the customers.

Requirements:

  • Min. MBO education with 2-3 years experience in Customer Service or equivalent
  • Cash handling experience and on-the-job training may be required
  • Knowledge of banking software
  • Basic math and computer skills.
  • High level of accountability, efficiency, and accuracy.
  • Professional appearance and courteous manner.
