Officer - Marketing (Orco Bank Curacao)

General Purpose:

The Marketing Officer, Orco Bank role is to drive and execute marketing and communications initiatives for the bank in accordance with the strategic pillars. This includes, coordinating and setting up marketing campaigns/projects, and proposing initiatives and ideas that enhance the positive public perception/differentiation from other entities and contribute to the Bank’s corporate identity and image.

 

The role of the Marketing Officer, Orco Bank is to lead marketing related initiatives for Aruba Bank and Orco Bank and service as the contact point for the OBAB (Orco Bank/Aruba Bank) marketing collaboration effort, develop specialization and take responsibility for content marketing. 

Position Highlights:

  • Contribute to the implementation of marketing strategies.
  • Organize and attend marketing activities or events to raise brand awareness.
  • Plan advertising and promotional campaigns for products or services on a variety of media (social, print etc.).
  • Liaising with external providers and partners where needed for marketing and Public Relations activities.
  • See all ventures through to completion and evaluate their success using various metrics.
  • Prepare content for the publication of marketing material and oversee distribution.
  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities for promotion and growth.
  • Implementing Marketing and PR efforts to attain Orco Bank business goals and needs.
  • Collaborate with and seek input from specialists within the Marketing Department and the organization to deliver effective, on brand, customer experience.

Requirements:

  • BSc/BA in marketing, business administration or relevant field.
  • Solid knowledge of marketing techniques and principles.
  • Good understanding of market research techniques, statistical and data analysis methods.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and marketing technology.
  • Thorough understanding of social media and web analytics.
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English, Papiamentu and Dutch.
  • Public relations activities.
  • Creativity and commercial awareness.
