Insurance Representative

General Purpose:


The Insurance Representative acts as intermediary between the Bank’s customers and the insurance companies. He/she provides excellent customer service and gives advice related to insurance products. 

Position Highlights

  • Provide information to (prospective) customers regarding insurance products and services;
  • Provide professional and high level of customer service in order to assist customers with their requests;
  • Active sale of all insurance products, tailored to the customer’s need;
  • Responsible for the control and timely follow-up of all insurance policies within the assigned portfolio;
  • Provide personal assistance concerning claim handling, this includes maintaining constant contact with the insurance companies;
  • Compare monthly financial reports in order to detect marketing opportunities;
  • Assist other departments with new information on insurance products and services.

Requirements

  • Minimum HAVO/VWO degree with 2 years of relevant experience in the insurance field;
  • Good knowledge of the local insurance market is a plus;
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively;
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Dutch;
  • Knowledge of the Bank’s procedures and guidelines;
  • Knowledge of relevant law, regulations and legal documents;
  • Effective team player and able to adapt to change;
  • Time management skills and able to prioritize effectively.
