Business Intelligence Analyst- Aruba Bank

General Purpose:

The Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst gathers and translates information requirements into reports and dashboards for analyzing, tracking, measuring, reporting, and decision-making. Together with the Business and with IT he/she defines and creates standards for visualizing data for the organizations and guides/educates the organizations in (the use of) Business Intelligence objectives, standards, and tools. He/she provides support to the Business in creating business cases for new initiatives and provides support in benefits management.

Position Highlights:

  • Define and create standards for visualizing data.
  • Collect, prepare, analyze, and transform (internal and external) data into insights in support of decision-making.
  • Pro-actively identify, describe, and advise on relevant information requirements, solutions, and prioritization.
  • Identify and maintain Key Performance Indicators.
  • Design and create reports and dashboards for management, managers, and employees.
  • Manage Business Intelligence related projects outsourced to 3rd parties and participate in other bank projects.
  • Guide and educate the organizations in (the use of) Business Intelligence objectives, standards, and tools.
  • Assist in developing business cases for new initiatives (products, segments, processes, solutions)
  • Assist in measuring achieved benefits upon completion of projects.
  • Keep abreast of relevant developments and best practices on Business Intelligence.

Requirements:

  • HBO/Bachelor’s degree in Business Information, or similar.
  • 5 - 7 years working experience, with an affinity for data and analytics.
  • Banking experience preferred, with thorough knowledge of business operations and processes.
  • Deep understanding of, and experience with, data management tools such as PowerBI.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Dutch.
  • Conceptual analytical thinking.
  • Communicative, decisive, and precise.
  • Ability to continuously develop and nurture professional networks.
  • Adaptability and ?exibility including ability to manage deadline pressure and change.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
