Assistant Account Executive (Curacao)

General Purpose:

Under close supervision of the Manager Retail Banking, assist the Account Executives Retail and Customer Service Representatives with their back office assignment(s) to ensure the timely achievement of both short and long term target of the Account Executives and Customer Service Representatives, based on the Bank’s business plan initiatives.

 

Position Highlights:

  • Assist with the completion of reference letters, with the renewal of Time Deposits contracts account balances enquiries, interest letters, processing of transfer requests received via e-mail or fax, and other administrative tasks.
  • Function as back-up of the Customer Service Representative when required.
  • Arrange account opening for mortgage clients’ car-and personal loan prior or/when signing loan agreements and follow up on pending insurance documents in connection with mortgage loans.
  • Support the account executive to perform customer due diligence (CDD) during the onboarding process, in order to have sufficient information available to comply with our Know Your Customer (KYC) policies and procedures.
  • To support the account executive to perform timely follow up on missing or outdated documents/ information on the assigned portfolio, safeguarding completion of all files, in compliance with the policies and procedures of the Bank.
  • Perform updates on client’s files and products and ensure compliance with the Bank’s policies and procedures.
  • Provide timely follow up on internal request for information by contacting the customer to assure a swift and professional banking service.
  • Ensure timely follow up on assigned tasks in all applications (e.g. Pega and Matrix).
  • Timely report unusual account/client behavior to the Compliance department by completing an internal reporter form, for further investigation.

Requirements:

  • MBO+ (5-7 years of experience) or HBO degree with at least 2 years of banking experience in Banking / Customer Service.
